Acceptance of the beta
ViewSkill is currently offered as an MVP beta. By signing up or using any feature, including search, profile analysis, the AI-assistant connection, or coding assessments, you accept these terms in their entirety. We may update them as the product evolves; the latest version always lives here.
Decision-support only
ViewSkill is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for human judgment. All scores, rankings, and AI-generated evaluations are starting points for your recruiting process. Final hiring decisions remain your responsibility.
You agree to use the platform fairly, lawfully, and in compliance with applicable employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws.
Data we process
- Recruiters: account data (email, name, role), search queries, candidate lists, assessment results, billing identifiers, and hiring outcomes you choose to record.
- Candidates: only publicly-available GitHub profile data (handle, bio, public repositories, contribution signals). We do not scrape private data or bypass access controls.
- Data hosting, auth, and edge functions run on the Lovable Cloud backend (EU region). AI inference is routed through the Lovable AI Gateway to third-party models.
Credits and billing
ViewSkill operates on a credit-based model: 1 credit = 1 action, whether that is a search, a candidate check, an AI-assistant action, or a coding assessment. Public assistant tools are free; account-scoped actions consume credits.
Billing is handled by Stripe. Refunds are evaluated case by case during the beta. Enterprise or custom arrangements can be discussed via the contact address below.
Account security
Keep your credentials safe. Admin actions require an explicit role grant stored in a dedicated user_roles table, never on the user profile. We use Row-Level Security (RLS) and short-lived JWT sessions with automatic refresh.
Liability limitations
During this beta phase, ViewSkill is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the founder is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the project operator from claims arising out of your misuse of the platform or violation of these terms.
